The Spa Running Festival presented by Window Mart - Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1K Squirt Race

Come Run With Us, November 11th, through beautiful Hot Springs National Park! The Spa Running Festival is an event for everyone .... kids, walkers, beginners to elite runners and those that like a challenge! The Squirt Race is for kids 2 - 10 years of age. The 5K is a fast and flat course and for both walkers and runners! The 10K, now celebrating its 42nd year, and runners enjoy the beauty of running West Mountain. This will be the 8th running of the Summit2Summit Half Marathon. Do you like a challenge - well you get to - the course takes you through the scenic National Park going summit to summit on Hot Springs Mountain/North Mountain AND West Mountain!

Come enjoy the Expo on Friday at the Hot Springs Convention Center. We partner with our friends from the Gudrun Northwoods Mountain Bike Festival that happens that weekend so lots of fun things to see. Then, after the race, hang around to enjoy great food, the beer tent, picture taking, socializing and bragging rights that you conquered (BOTH) mountains.

Proceeds from the race benefits these great organizations: Friends of the Parks and the Spa Pacers Running Club - Buzz Wilson Scholarship Program.

Race Information:

Start times: All races start and finish on Convention Blvd. in front of Embassy Suites (Embassy’s address is 400 Convention Blvd.) and are run on paved roads.

The Half Marathon starts at 7:00 am (about 500 Ft. further down Convention Blvd); the Spa 10K at 7:45 am and the 5K Run/Walk at 8:00 am. The Squirt Race starts at 11:00 am - also on Convention Blvd under the Main Finish line area.

Course Safety: While for safety reasons we discourage the use of earbuds and headphones, we do not impose a ban on such devices. But if you’re wearing headphones, how will you hear the crowd cheering at the finish line? Animals are not allowed on the course unless they are assisting visually impaired participants. Because the safety of all participants is a priority, wearing roller skates or pushing strollers of any kind are not allowed in any of the events for the race.

Packet-up Options: Packets can be picked up for pre-registrants, this includes Squirt Race 1K, 5K, 10K and Summit 2 Summit Half Marathon, Friday, November 10 at Hot Springs Convention Center, Exhibit Hall B (134 Convention Blvd) from Noon - 7:00 pm and on Saturday, Race Day at Hot Springs Convention Center Bank OZK Arena Lobby (398 Convention Blvd) starting at 6:00 am.

NOTE: Initially these notifications will be classified as "Preliminary Results" due to the nature of chip timing. You initial finish time and pace will stay the same but there could be a chance that your finish place could change. At the awards presentation time for each event, the results will become final.
