First, we want to say “Thank you” for your support of this fun event. In this unprecedented time, the MEMS 5k Glow Run Committee has been monitoring the spread and potential impact of COVID-19. It has been decided, regretfully, that the MEMS 5k Glow Run will be CANCELLED for the year 2020.
We are terribly sorry that you will no longer be able to glow with us on May 22nd . We are issuing you a full refund of your registration and hope that those monies can be used for other, social-distance appropriate, family activities.
The date of the MEMS 5k Glow Run coincided with MEMS’s Anniversary and National EMS week. This year’s EMS week theme is EMS Strong. As MEMS EMTs and Paramedics, the MEMS 5k Glow Run Committee will now be focusing our full attention to the service of our communities in the midst of this pandemic. It is our hope that you will stay safe and healthy during this time while we continue to respond #EMSStrong.
See you next year!
Sincerely,
Shannon Smithson, NRP
