2023 Bermuda National Road Race Championships

Race Schedule

• 8:00AM – Open Male start
• 8:05AM - Junior Male start
• 8:10M –  Masters Male (40+)
• 8:12AM – Open Female and Junior Female start

Race Categories

• Open Male: 6 laps, 60 miles
• Masters Male 4 Laps, 40 miles
• Open Female: 4 laps, 40 miles
• Junior Male: 4 laps, 40 miles
• Junior Female: 3 laps, 30 miles

Prize Presentation 

There will be a podium ceremony immediately following the conclusion of the Open Male race.  Prizes will be distributed as follows:

Open Male / Open Female/Masters Male

• 1st - $150
• 2nd - $100
• 3rd - $50

Junior Male / Female

• 1st - $75
• 2nd - $50
• 3rd - $25

Note: Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category provided that there are a minimum 4 riders in the category.  1st and 2nd prizes awarded if 3 riders in category.  1st prize only awarded if 1 or 2 riders in category.

National Championship titles will be awarded to the first Bermudian male and female finishers in the Open and Junior Championship races.

Course Description

Start/ Finish on Middle Road by Whitney Institute.  Head west and then left on Verdmont Road and left on St. Mark’s Road.  Left on South Road.  Left on Paynters Road then right on Harrington Sound Road.  Proceed up Wilkinson Avenue to the roundabout and then left on to North Shore Road.  At Flatts stay left to Middle Road to the start/finish.
