The Wildcat Run: Conquer the Canyon
New for 2015: $100 purse for the top male and female finishers.
Run in the footsteps of champions. For 26 years, perennial league, CIF Champion and State Champions Brea Olinda
High School cross country teams have hosted the Brea Invitational at Carbon Canyon Regional Park each fall.
The Wildcat Run offers the chance to come and "Conquer the Canyon" on Oct. 3, 2015 at 7:30 a.m.
The 3mile
course takes runners through Orange County's only giant redwood grove, alongside a serene lake,
through rugged canyon trails and to the top of a ridge that offers stunning views of Catalina Island and the Palos
Verdes peninsula.
After the run, stay to watch some of Southern California's finest prep runners take on the same course as they race to
win the Brea Invitational.
All proceeds benefit the Brea Olinda High cross country programs.
