Unity Plaza presents ELC Duval’s Birth to 5K Race/Run/Walk

Funds will go towards improving and providing Early Learning programs in Duval County and engage and inform families with young children on early learning resources and information.

The following race registration fees include all online processing fees

Race 1 - 5km Run/Walk - Sponsored by PNC Bank - Jacksonville

Early Registration - $25.00 - Through 06/08/15

Regular Registration - Ages 22 & Under - $25.00 - 06/09/15 through 08/07/15 at 4:00pm
Regular Registration - Ages 23 & Over - $35.00 - 06/09/15 through 08/07/15 at 4:00pm

Day of Race Registration - Ages 22 & Under - $30.00 - Cash or Check Only 
Day of Race Registration - Ages 23 & Over - $40.00 - Cash or Check Only 

Race 2 - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk sponsored by Jax4Kids.com

All Times Including Race Day - Ages 9 and under, $1.00 Per Year of Child 
All Times Including Race Day - Ages 10 and above, $10.00 

OVERALL AWARDS

Overall Awards will be presented as follows:

Awards will be given to the top three males and females in the following categories:
Top 3 Overall Finishers

Age Group Finishers will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups:
0-12, 13-24, 25-64, 65 & Over

Runners will only receive one award:  overall or an age group award.  Placements for awards are based on gun time, not chip time unless otherwise noted.

SHIRTS

All runners registered two weeks prior to the race are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt of their requested size.   All runners registering within two weeks of the race will receive a shirt as supplies permits.

The Start and Finish are at Unity Plaza.  The race course is along the Riverwalk.  There will be water stations on the course and at the finish line.

DAY OF RACE EVENT SCHEDULE

60 minutes to 15 minutes prior to the start of the race - Packet, Bib, & Chip Pickup

60 minutes to 30 minutes prior to the start of the race - Day of Race Registration Open (Cash or Check Only)

15 Minutes after last 5km finisher - Awards Ceremony

RACE START TIMES

8:00am - Race 1 - 5km Start

9:00am - Race 2 - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP

Runners will pick up their bib and timing chip prior to the race at the check-in area.

Race times and dates are subject to change without notice at any time for any reason. In the event the race time or date is changed or if the race is cancelled, for any reason, there will not be any refunds under any circumstances. In the event of bad weather every effort will be made to conduct the race, however it may be moved to an alernate date, time, or cancelled within hours of the starting time. Please be sure to check the PRS Race Timing website and Facebook page for updates prior to departing to the race for any last minute changes or instructions.

The race will be chip timed using a shoe chip system.   Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup.   All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race.  Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line.   Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
