The UGA chapter of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is hosting their 6th annual Ready Set Speak 5K Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at UGA's Coliseum. Proceeds from this 5K goes towards NSSLHA's donation to the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic. UGA's Speech and Hearing clinic provides training for graduate students in UGA's Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate program. During the year UGA's Speech and Hearing Clinic hosts free speech and hearing screenings, and provides reduced costs for speech, language, and hearing services. Donations to the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic helps them provide scholarships to clients, as well as purchase new equipment. Help us support the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic by running our race!
Following the race there will be drinks and snacks, as well as prizes for top runners. The cost of registration is $15 and includes a -tshirt while supplies last. On race day check-in will begin at 7:00am and the race will start at 8:00am.
