GRACE (Greatest Race of All for Children Everywhere) is a televised program on True Health TV (www.trueHealth.tv or Atlanta Channel 16-3), that is geared towards ending the epidemic of childhood obesity. Unlike other epidemics, we have the cure for childhood obesity which is a healthy lifestyle comprised or proper diet and physical activity. The aim of this race is to get people, especially children to enjoy physical activity and to raise funds by bringing awareness to the importance of preventing childhood obesity. This race event can take place in any city or location although the primary place is in the city of Atlanta where this originates. We will cover other venues as you sign up. Move-a-thon means you collect pledges and can utilize skates, or skateboards or roller-blades or other methods of moving besides walking or running to raise money for childhood obesity prevention. Once you complete around a 5K ( or 20 laps of 0.155miles per lap) or got moving for at least an hour you have succeeded and we will collect the pledges that you provided to us, prior to the race event. We will collect the funds and you receive prizes for your participation. For more information please visit www.Grace4health.org
