This event coincides with the Army vs Navy Game on the football field at the CYSS Multi-Sport Complex. All athletes will register as an Army supporter or a Navy Supporter.
After the Run, stick around and enjoy two flag football games. The first one will see the JROTC’s from Greenbrier and Lakeside High Schools, (Army v Navy), square off, and then, the second matchup will see our Service Members representing the two branches tangle.
Also, enjoy the fine tailgating which will take place prior to the Annual Army/Navy Game which will be viewed at Hero’s Lounge at the Fort Gordon Bowling Center.
The starting time is 9:00am.
Race Site – CYSS Multi-Sport Complex at 42nd Street and Avenue of the States
Parking – Engineers Field, CYSS Teen Center, Freedom Park Elementary
Directions – Go through Gate 6. Take Left at Traffic Circle to 12th Street, Take Right at Traffic Circle onto Lane Avenue, Continue Straight on Lane Avenue through Traffic Circle at 25th Street and the following Traffic Circle at Rice Road and Avenue of the States, Take Right onto Avenue of the States. Continue through Traffic Light to 42nd Street, event will be on the left
Awards – There are no awards, as this is an un-timed fun run
Finisher medals will be presented at the completion of the event.
