Description
The second annual Addiction Awareness and Recovery 5K Run Walk will take place on Saturday, September 19 at DuPage County Forest Preserve (3 S. 580 Naperville Rd., Wheaton). Packet pickup and same day registration starts at 8:00 am. The Run/Walk start time is 10:00 am followed by and celebration and awards ceremony at 11:30 am. A kids fun run will take place after the main event at approximately 11:15 am.
The course is a trail style course through woodlands, meadows, and fields. Please come out to raise awareness for addiction and support individuals in recovery. Competitive/novice runners and walkers welcome. Early bird registration is $30 (before 8/31- $40 after 9/1) and includes a teeshirt and the kids fun run is $20.
