Run Like A Hero

“Run Like A Hero”, the second annual 5k run/walk and kiddie fun run, was created to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. This race is dedicated in loving memory of Caden Bowles and others who have lost their battle waiting for organ transplants. “Run like A Hero” will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Proceeds from this event will support The Indiana Donor Network for organ donor awareness as well as transplant research and will honor individuals who have received their gift and those who still are anxiously waiting for their hero to come forward. In 2014, the “Run Like A Hero” event exceeded expectations with over 400 participants and by raising over $11,000! Families, teams, companies, healthcare organizations and individual participants joined us to spread the word of the importance of organ donor awareness. Proceeds from the event were donated to transplant research and organ donor awareness.
