Martini Madness--The Olive Run

5K out and back course on the Indian Creek Parkway Trail starting right behind The Other Place--Olathe.  The trail is mostly shaded and follows the creek bed most of the way. 

Olive Drew was a retired teacher who began running at age 80 and continued until 93. Funds from the race provide scholarships in her memory for students of District #313 in central Kansas (where she taught) who wish to pursue a career in education. Olive loved teaching, children, running and a good time.

While we run in memory of Olive, we also run to celebrate all those runners who have more LIFE IN THEIR YEARS thanks to running.
