Super Derby 5k

Join us for our 4th Annual Super Derby 5k Gallop!!

Come race on the turf track, where all the live thoroughbred action takes place!

All proceeds benefit the Louisiana Horse Rescue Association

Date & Time: Tuesday, September 8th. 6:30 p.m.

Course Decription: The race is run entirely on the grass turf of Louisiana Downs.

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick up: Every pre-registered participant will receive a "Super Derby 5k Gallop" t-shirt and goodie bag.

Packet pick up will be at Sportspectrum beginning Friday, September 4th thru Monday September 7th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (except for Sunday which will be 1:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m.). You may also pick up your packet on race day at the race site starting at 5:30 p.m.

Awards: Overall Male & Female finishesr in the 5k will receieve a trophy and dinner for 2 to Jack Binion's Steak House. Additionally, overall age group finishers will also receive  an award.

Age Groups: 11-under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Special Note: This will be a chip timed event. Absolutley NO in-line skates, roller skates, dogs, or runners with baby strollers or joggers will be allowed on the run course. This is an RRCA regulation!
