Course Description: Next to Sci Port on the Clyde Fant Parkway.

Date & Starting Times: Saturday Morning, September 30th, 2023.

5K & 15K will start at 7:30 a.m.

5K Wheelchair will start at 7:25 a.m.

Registration: You may register early by mailing your entry form w/check to Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105 or you can stop by the store and pay with cash, check or credit card.

Entry Fee:

Through September 2nd - $22.00

September 3rd - September 28th - $27.00

September 29th - September 30th - $32.00

***If you do not want a race shirt you can save $5.00 on your registration by choosing the NO SHIRT option and it will take $5.00 off your entry at checkout.

Race Packet: Race Packets will be available Thursday, Sept. 29th from 12pm—6pm,

Friday, Sept. 30th from 10am—5:30pm, at Sportspectrum.

Race morning at the race site starting at 6:15 a.m. until 15 minutes prior to race start.

Every pre-registered participant will receive an Official 2022 Revel Run T-shirt. Shirts will be limited, so please register early. All packets not picked up by the start of the race will be given to our wonderful volunteers. No packets mailed or held.

Awards: Overall, male & female winners for 5K & 15K Road Race will receive a $100 gift certificate to Sportspectrum. Overall male & female runners up will receive a $50.00 gift certificate to Sportspectrum.

1st and 2nd place age group winner will receive trophies.

Special Note: No dogs allowed on the run course.

Your timing chip is attached to your bib number. If you need a replacement bib/chip after you pick up your packet you will charged an additional $5.00 for a replacement.

15k Course will close at 10:00 a.m. All runners will be pulled from course at this point.

5k Course Map

Race starts and finishes under the train bridge on the Clyde Fant Parkway next to the Sci-Port Building. You will take the northbound lane of the parkway and run south until you get to the 1.55 mark turnaround and head back to the finish. Very fast out and back. There will be a water stop at the turnaround point.

New 15K course

Starts/ finishes under the train bridge on the Clyde Fant Parkway next to Sci-Port Discovery Center

Runners take the north bound lane and get off the parkway at Stoner Avenue and head to the Stoner Boat Launch where they will make a loop around the boat launch

Right onto the bike path heading north on the bike path

Left through the tunnel under the parkway to the west side bike path

Follow the bike path behind the VA Medical Center to where the bike path ends at Stoner Avenue

Runners cross Stoner Avenue onto River Parkway Boulevard

Right onto Riverscape Drive

Left on River Run Circle

Left on Riverview Lane

Right onto Riverscape Drive

Right on River Parkway Boulevard

Left on cut through road to turn around point

Right on River Parkway Boulevard heading north

Cross Stoner back onto the bike path

Follow bike path back to Stoner Avenue

Take north bound lane of Clyde Fant back to start/ finish line under train bridge.
