Description
Sunrise Children's Home is a Christian orphanage founded in 2003, located in Kabarnet, Kenya, East Africa. Since inception, the Home has admitted more than 100 children on a temporary basis from the ages of one (1) week to 16 years. The Home is also a Rescue Center for children abused and in difficult circumstances like those who run away from social evils such as forced or early marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) or child abuse by relatives. Currently there are 36 children being cared for, with funding by donations ONLY and no support from the government.
