Paws for a Cause 5k

Join us for a fun and exciting event that celebrates the Dog Days of Summer!  Now in its 10th year, Paws for a Cause raises money and awareness for homeless and neglected animals along Maine's mid-coast communities. 100% of proceeds benefit the animals of the Coastal Humane Society of Brunswick. The best part of the race: four-legged family members are encouraged to participate as well! Bring along friends, family and your pooch in this 5k for everyone at any level.   The 5k kicks off at 8 AM in scenic Freeport, Maine, and is followed by a one-mile walk for those interested in a shorter route with their canine companions. Teams are encouraged, and the team with the greatest show of team spirit will take home the prestigious Silver Dog Bowl. Register online at: www.coastalhumanesociety.org/paws.
