Description
Tim’s Run is a 5K Run / Walk in memory of Timothy J. Flaherty. Tim was a true family man. A loving husband, father, grandfather, best buddy, vegetable gardener, outdoorsman, and a career man with an impressive 33-year career as a Portland Firefighter … and a runner. Tim passed away August 30, 2011, at only 63 years old following a courageous fight against Myelofibrosis, a rare blood cancer that is now being linked, among other particular cancers, to firefighters. Although we all lost Tim on this day, we feel like we have never lost his spirit.
