Description
The 41st annual Allen Park 5K/10K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 5, 2017, starts at 9:00 a.m., with a kid’s fund mile at 8:30 a.m. Participants in the 5K and 10K get “retro” T-shirt, breakfast pizza provided by Bella’s Pizza, and fresh fruit provided by Agemy & Sons Market. Age group awards, and raffle after the run. Fee is $30 before August 1, 2017, and $35 from August 1 to race day. Mile run is free, with ribbons to finishers, but no shirt. Register online at Runsignup.com. Run/walk starts and finishes at Allen Park Presbyterian Church, 7101 Park Ave., Allen Park, 48101. This race is fast and flat through the neighborhood streets of Allen Park.
