Ladies, three different Divine Endeavors await you, consisting of the Ann Arbor Goddess 5K, the Tri Goddess Tri, and a Detroit Goddess Festival of Races event. Later in this registration process, you will select which Tri Goddess Tri event you will undertake: the Sprint Tri (age group or Athena), the Mini Sprint Tri, the Duathlon (run, bike, run), or the Aquabike (swim, bike). The Athena category in the Tri Goddess Tri is a sprint triathlon for Goddesses who meet the minimum weight requirement of 165 pounds. Athena competitors are divided into two subcategories: ages 39 and under and ages 40 and above. Awards are given for the top five finishers in these two subcategories. Athena competitors are ineligible for age-group awards. The Athena category and its male counterpart, the Clydesdale category, are fully recognized by USA Triathlon and feature their own national championships.
