Description
Rescuing One to Rescue Another
Run or walk with or without your dog as you honor Veteran's Day and help us Rescue One to Rescue Another!
Proceeds benefit Stiggy's Dogs, based in Howell Michigan. The 501(c)(3) organization rescues and trains shelter dogs to be psychiatric service dogs for military veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (“PTSD”) or Traumatic Brain Injury (“TBI”). The psychiatric service dogs are trained and deployed at no cost to the veteran.
The 5K route is an out and back course to Jean Klock Park with a start and finish on Graham Avenue in front of Harbor Shores Golf Club. Overall male and female winners in the run division will receive individual awards. Medals will also be presented to the top 3 male and female winners in the 5K run and top 10 male and female walkers.
