Description
Angels’ Place is a non-profit organization that provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental disabilities. Twenty residential homes are located in Oakland and Macomb County. The homes offer residents a family environment with an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, well-being and the potential for personal growth and acceptance.
Angels’ Place Race was started in 2008 to help support Angels’ Place and contribute to the organization’s ability to maintain its services. In 2017, 470 walkers and runners participated in the race and helped to raise $38,000.
