Honoring “Ella Marie Hughes”, supporting American Brain Tumor Association
Ella’s Race was established to honor the memory of Ella Marie Hughes (an avid runner and classic car collector) of Richmond, MI, who lost her courageous battle with glioblastoma multiform (GBM) brain tumor in late 2014.
Ella’s Race was founded by Elite Personal Fitness and the Hughes Family whom has taken on the mission to raise critical funds and awareness to support vital brain tumor research and desperately needed services for those living with a brain tumor diagnosis. With the help of event participants, sponsors, friends and community as a whole, they created the Annual “Ella’s Race” Run/Walk and Car Show to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association.
Whether you’re a runner, walker or car collector, this event is your opportunity to help a great cause while having a great time in a spectacular setting.
