Description
The Douglas County Sheriff Department is hosting a 5K/Walk for support our Coats for Kids Program. The Coats for Kids was started in the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department in 2009 and has provided coats for over 850 children in our community.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department works closely with Walmart in and arranging and acquiring the coats and also with the 3 local schools. The coats are distributed discreetly through the school personnel.
