Saints Invitational and Cross Country 5K

The Central Christian College of the Bible athletic department will host the Saints Invitational and Cross Country 5K on Saturday, Aug. 29 as part of Alumni Day festivities. The event will feature three races: the Cross Country 5K (open to the public) at 8:30 a.m., the Saints Invitational women’s race (5K) at 10 a.m. and the Saints Invitational men’s race (5K) at 10:45 a.m.

The 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) run is an all-grass and relatively flat course on CCCB’s 40-acre campus. It will also serve as the first intercollegiate cross country meet hosted by the Saints, who will begin their second year in the sport.

The entry fee for all races is $20 per individual, or $100 per team of five or more in the Saints Invitational. All participants registered by Aug. 10 are guaranteed to receive a T-shirt in their preferred size. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winners and top finishers in each category. All proceeds from the event will benefit the CCCB Cross Country program.
