Ready for a January River Crossing?

After a successful January race in 2023, we have decided to keep this race at its new earlier date! The 2024 race will have a snow/ice date of February 25th if the park is closed due to unsafe roads or if the park decides that the trails are not safe for the athletes on the race's January date.

We have seen every type of weather for this race over the years! It has been 85 degrees and bone dry and it has been 35 degrees with extremely slippery trails and the river uncrossable. Lean into it, have fun and just say WTF!

If you haven’t come out before, you are missing out on gorgeous trails, epic water crossings, hoodies, mega finisher’s medals, bumper stickers, fun prizes, great food and beer!  What better way to enjoy a mid-winter day!
