Ocean Isle Beach Bridge - Run for Food

The Start/Finish line and the Post Race Festival are located next to the Ocean Isle Beach Town Hall at 3 West 3rd Street. Both races start out together promptly at 9:00 am.

Parking for both races is adjacent to the Museum of Coastal Carolina at 21 East Second St., as well as public parking areas in the immediate vicinity. Vested race volunteers will direct you to designated parking areas the day of the race. A map of all OIB public parking areas can be found at: http://www.oibgov.com/userfiles/File/Beach_Access2.pdf

Special awards will be presented to the top two male and female finishers in the HM, large trophies will be presented to the top two male and female finishers in the 5K, and trophies presented to the top three finishers in each of 13 age categories for both men and women.

Jogging Strollers only.  NO PETS.

Since this is a charity event, with all proceeds going directly to the local Food Pantry, we have always had a No Refund Policy. The event will be held rain or shine.

5K Registrants that cross the finish line will get a 2" finishing medal and Half-Marathon Finishers will get a 3" finishing medal.

All Proceeds benefit the South Brunswick Interchurch Council Food Pantry.

Please bring cans of food on Race Day to help support the Food Pantry.

Newly designed high performance long sleeve shirts will be provided to the first 250 registrants in the 5K and the first 250 registrants in the Half-Marathon.

HM $65 ($70 on raceday); 5K $35 ($40 on raceday).

FRIDAY NIGHT PACKET PICKUP AND REGISTRATION AT OCEAN ISLE BEACH TOWN HALL, 3 West Third St. Ocean Isle Beach, NC - Friday, January 13th from 5:30-7:30 PM; Friday Nite Walk-in registration fees are $65 for the HM and $35 for the 5K Run/Walk. NOTE: Cash and Checks only, no credit cards.

RACE DAY CHECK-IN WILL BE AT OCEAN ISLE BEACH TOWN HALL, Saturday, January 14th, 7:00-8:30 AM, Race starts at 9:00 AM; Raceday Walk-in registration fees are $70 for the HM and $40 for the 5K Run/Walk. NOTE: Cash and Checks only, no credit cards.

Pre-race dinner will be offered at Sharky’s restaurant next to the bridge – choice of two pasta dinners, house salad, bread, fountain drinks (free refills) for $9.99. 

Ocean view hotel rooms are available at The Winds Resort Beach Club located at 310 East 1st Street (800-334-3581) – they are donating first place prizes to the male/female winners of the Half Marathon.
