The Puppy Creek Fire Department is excited to announce the return of our 7th Annual "Run for a Cure" 5K.
The 5K is a chance to get out and crawl-walk-jog-run with your neighbors, family and friends to help raise money towards getting free breast exams, wig assistance and other breast cancer related opportunities for Hoke County residents who don't have the resources to do so. Our goal is to raise awareness of breast cancer and generate interest in donating some money and educating the public on breast cancer and ways to identify it and work through it. Cape Fear Valley Heath is a key member of our team, a partner organization and once again has graciously donated the start/stop and parking locations for the participants. We are excited to have Hoke County Sheriff's Office, and Hoke County EMS assisting with the event!
