6th Annual Comfort Zone Camp NJ Grief Relief 5K

Comfort Zone Camp’s 5Ks are fun, family-friendly events that raise awareness and funds for our programs for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Register to walk today so that we can reach as many grieving children as possible and provide them with a community in which to heal and grow –- all free-of-charge to their families.

2015 SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITES

Clearly marked, scenic route with views of the New York City skyline. Stroller/pet-friendly course with “In Memory” Team signs placed along the route. Opening ceremony including a special camper presentation. Water stations, food, music, kid-friendly activities and more (eg. kids fun run pumpkin dash, face painting, caricaturist, sports massages, ribbons of remembrance). Raffle/silent auction items. Come join the fun!

8:30 a.m. – Registration and t-shirt pick-up begins
9:15 a.m. – Welcome and opening remarks
9:30 a.m. – Start (Runners up front)
9:45 a.m. – Close registration
11:00 a.m. – Kids Fun Run
11:30 a.m. – Individual & Team Recognition
