The 38th running of the Timothy Murphy 10k Run/Walk for the Environment will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 9am. The race starts at Max V. Shaul State Park and travels along scenic State Route 30, known as the Timothy Murphy Trail. The course is mostly flat to slightly downhill, with a few short uphill grades. It finishes on Main Street in Middleburgh, kicking of the annual Columbus Day Celebration and Parade.
There will be NO TRANSPORTATION provided to the starting line. Participants can be dropped off at Max V. Shaul State Park; however, vehicles cannot be left at the park once the race starts. There is plenty of parking available at the Valley Soccer Complex just 1/3 mile south of the starting line. There is also parking available near the finish line behind the Middleburgh High School. Reminder that this is not an “out and back or loop course”. Please plan your transportation accordingly.
