Are you looking for something different? Well, this is not your typical 5K!
The Free Range Run/Walk at Stratford Ecological Center will wind through field and forest and offer vistas of pasture, prairie meadows, pond, streams, farm animals, woodland trails, and cropland. If you're familiar with our immensely popular Fantastic Frigid 5K Series that takes place at Stratford in January, this race is the summer equivalent! In addition to the 5K, we are also offering a FREE 100m kids run (taking place 15 minutes before the 5K) for any of the kiddos who are interested in getting in on the racing action. Join us in July to explore the Stratford trails and see all of the beauty and shade that they provide in the summertime!
7:00 am - 8:15 am - Race Day Check-In and Packet Pickup (all packet pickup will be done on race morning at the race site)
8:15 am - Free Range Kids Run begins
8:30 am - Free Range Run 5K begins

Partial proceeds go to Stratford’s Scholarship fund, enabling children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in children’s programs like Farm Camp.
Awards for the top two (2) finishers in men's and women's divisions, as well as the boy's and girl's youth divisions (ages 12 and under), and men's and women's senior divisions (ages 65 and up). Awards include Stratford products such as honey, maple syrup, hand-made soap, and more!
