Hometown Hope Run

The 11th Annual Hometown Hope Run, hosted by the Gospel Rescue Mission in Muskogee, will be held on September 23rd at the Gospel Rescue Mission's new location at 323 Callahan St.  There will be a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk, a chip timed 5k on a USATF certified course (scroll down for course map).

The Hometown Hope Run was started in 2013 by a church small group that felt led to do something positive for the mission and the community.  The first 5 years of the event, it was held at the old GRM facility at 2nd and Elgin.  When the Gospel Rescue Mission moved to it's new home on Callahan in 2018, the event also made the move and this will be year 6 at the new location.  Over 1000 runners over the last 10 years have helped bring hope to those in our community that struggle with addiction and homelessness, so please make plans to join us in this effort on September 23rd.     

This is race is sanctioned by the United States Track and Field Association (USATF) and medals will be awarded to USATF Standard Age Groups (Every 5 year Age Groups) for the 5k race.  

Key Dates and Details:

- 5k Pricing: Pre-registration fee is $25 until Sept 10th.  September 11th to race day is $30

- Fun Run Pricing Pre-registration fee is $20 until September 10th.  September 11th to Race day is $25

- T-shirt Guarantee deadline: September 10th (Shirts are first come first serve after this date)

- Packet pick up/Late Registration:  Available at the Gospel Rescue Mission (323 Callahan Muskogee, OK) the Friday before the race from 12:00 to 6:00 pm.  Packet Pickup and Registration is also available on race day starting at 6:30 am.
