Description
GLUT1 Deficiency is a rare genetic disorder with only around 600 cases being diagnosed worldwide. There are thousands more cases that are misdiagnosed due to healthcare professionals and the public being unaware of the disorder and its symptoms. The GLUT1 Fun Run & Obstacle Course benefits the GLUT1 Deficiency Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to educating doctors and other healthcare professionals about GLUT1 Deficiency, increasing awareness about GLUT1 Deficiency, and funding researchers as they work to find a cure.
Packet pickup and race day registration begins at 8:00 am the day of the race.
Race will begin and end at the Oktaha Elementary School Gymnasium building at 10:00 am. Parking is available in the school lot on the South side of the building.
Race course will be 1 mile with obstacles.
