Poteau Monster Dash 5k

About The Monster Dash 5k:

Monsters will take over downtown Poteau on Saturday evening October 10th for the 1st annual Monster Dash 5k.   The race will begin at town square on Dewey at 6:00 pm and registration/packet pickup will start at 5:00.   

The Monster Dash is hosted by Hostoric Downtown Poteau and is mutation of thee Zombie Run that has happened in 2013 and 2014.  Same rules apply with living people (runners not dressed up) starting off at 6:00 pm sharp and runners dress as Monsters taking off one minute later.  Monsters can infect living runners by taking a flag off their flag belt.  

There will be prizes for the most infectious, Best Costume, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall Male and Female Runners 

About the Creature Crawl: This will be roughly 1/2 mile mini-run for kids.  The Creature Crawl race will start a few minutes after the 5k.

Cost for 5k and Creature Crawl mini-run:

- Pre-register: Only $20 if you sign up before Septmeber 20th and shirts are guarenteed

- Late Register or on Race Day: $25 and shirts are not guarenteed
