Description
Grab your friends and sign up for the Amy Hafer Race for Awareness! This event takes place on Saturday, June 27, and features a 10k run, a 5k run/walk, and a 1 mile walk. With awards, refreshments, and a celebration of health, the Amy Hafer Race for Awareness is a fun event for the whole family! The entry fee is $30 per person with t-shirt, $20 race only; under age 13 entry fee is $20 per person with a t-shirt, $10 race only.
The Amy Hafer Race for Awareness was launched in 2008 to honor Amy Hafer, a 1989 graduate of Wallowa High School, who lost her 18 month battle with breast cancer on November 25, 2007. The Race promotes health and early detection through regular check ups and important screenings such as mammography and colonoscopy.
