We are sad to report that our 8th annual race will be cancelled at this time. Schools are closed indefinitely in Pennyslvania and we have been asked to cancel all events and functions. At this time, with the uncertainty in the upcoming months, it is best for us to cancel rather than postpone our event. We hope we will have good news in coming months with a date to hold our next event! Thank you for your continued support!

JOIN US for the 8th Annual Margaret Ross Elementary PTA 5k and 1 Miler! Year two for our themed race - the BUNNY HOP 5k & 1 Miler!

Check-in and Walk Up Registration begins at 8:00am; Race begins at 9:00am
Rolling in to our 8th year, our hometown race is becoming a staple in the community. Whether you are an avid runner, a beginner or even just a walker, this hometown event is a perfect match! The 3.1 mile course loops you through Hopewell Twp, beginning at Margaret Ross Elementary, toward and around Hopewell High School, back around through the local streets, past the Municipal Building, finishing right back at Margaret Ross!!
If you're just starting out, if the kids want to get more involved in running, or you want to walk as a family, we've also have a 1 Miler! This is a great family event.
Awards will be given to 5k overall winners in addition to age group winners. Awards will also be provided to all children who participate in the 1Miler. Refreshments, fruit and bagels will be provided after the race.
Timing services will be provided by Miles of Smiles. Register for the 5K by Saturday March 21, 2020 to guarantee a free race t-shirt! Registrations received after March 21st will get a t-shirt based on availability only.
Cost:
5K Registration through 3/21/2020 - $20; After 3/21/2020 - $25
5K Registration for Students 17 and under - $15
1M Fun Run/Walk - $10; NOTE - t-shirts not included and can be purchased for $5 each if registered by 3/21/2020
**Online Registration will close at 11:59PM on Monday 4/6/2020. Walk up Registrations will be accepted the day of the race beginning at 8:15AM. Walk up Registration will be $25 (5k) and $10 (1Miler).**
The Margaret Ross PTA supports the programs provided to the children of Margaret Ross Elementary School. The PTA is able to help purchase computer equipment, books, supplies and equipment for the physical education classes. The PTA also coordinates class field trips, in-school activities and family events. We thank those who have supported us in the past as well as our newest supporters! We hope that you will join us for this wonderful event!
