Description
Since 1999, the Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, has been dedicated to providing advocacy, community engagement, and direct service programs that support the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness.
HCEF is hosting its fifth annual "STAND UP AND RUN FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN" 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk in conjunction with the Homeless Children's Awareness Week (October 18-25, 2015).
Day of registration and Packet Pick-Up is from 8:30 AM-9:30 AM and the race starts at 9:30 AM.
The race will begin near the North Park Boat House.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers of the race. Also age group prizes will be given away. Your registration will include a t-shirt and additional goodies.
