Description
The 19154 5K Race is an annual event hosted by Saint Anselm Parish in the Parkwood section of Northeast Philadelphia. Held each year on "Superbowl Saturday," the day includes a 5K Race, a One-Mile Walk, and a Kids' Fun Run. The history of the area encompassed within the 19154 zip code is intimately bound up with the history of our thriving parish. This family-oriented race helps to support our ongoing work of forming responsible young Philadelphians within our neighborhood. Our 5K race takes runners through a chip-timed, USATF-certified course in Parkwood Manor and Torrey Woods. Everyone is welcome to walk or run: athletes & amateurs, runners & walkers, adults & children, seniors & students, individuals & teams.
