The purpose of the Philly Freedom 5K Run is to raise money and awareness for Independence National Historical Park, home of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. As the Friends of Independence National Historical Park, we want to remind people how great our national park is for recreational activity as well as learning about the Birthplace of America. With budget cuts, our national park needs our help more than ever! This year, our run will support the Bicycle Patrol Fund to purchase and maintain current Law Enforcement Bicycles.
