All Breast cancer and Domestic Violence survivors will be acknowledge and will have a chance to briefly tell their story.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32 December 2007. Took 8 sessions of chemotherapy and 36 sessions of radiation. I was diagnosed 5 years later at the age of 37 October 2013 where I had a double mastectomy. Because the cancer was caught at an early stage I didn't have to do any treatments. I vowed to use my time to spread the word on Breast Cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.
There will be several events going on after the walk. There will be over 20 vendors. More updates to come.
