Race from the community of Roan Mountain, TN to the finish at the Rhododendron Gardens at the near summit of Roan Mountain in NC (6209 ft). You’ll run 14 miles, with 3623 ft of elevation gain up one of the 6,000 ft mountains on the TN/NC border. To put this race in perspective, according to our research, Top of The South is the highest elevation road race finish in the Southeast USA. 100% paved roads.
