HOCTIL's Boogie Fun Run, Stroll or Roll!

Heart of Central Texas Independent Living Center, Inc. is hosting its 1st Annual Boogie Fun Run, Stroll, or Rolll!  Please join us for a day of fun!! Come in costume or come as yourself!  Prizes given for best costume by age group and best team costume theme!

Everyone is invited!  This event is open to everyone of all ages and all abilities!  Come out and join us for fun!! You can run the race, walk the race, stroll the race, and even roll the race.  This race is FULLY ACCESSIBLE for everyone no matter your abilities!! Wheelchairs, powerchairs, strollers - all is welcome!! Guaranteed to have fun and support a great local non-profit!!!

The race will benefit Heart of Central Texas Independent Living Center, Inc. (HOCTIL) mission of the promotion of independence for persons with disabilities through self-determination.  HOCTIL promotes independence for persons with disabilities and adheres to the Independent Living philosophy and practices of consumer control, consumer direct services, consumer directed decision making, and self-advocacy.

HOCTIL is a community-based, LOCAL non-profit, non-residential, advocacy and training organization operated FOR persons with disabilities BY persons with disabilities. HOCTIL advocates for persons with disabilities to participate actively in their community.  HOCTIL serves all ages, all disabilities and their families in Bell, Coryell, McLennan and Hill Counties.

YOUR LIFE... YOUR WAY!

There are two different times for the fun run.  One will begin at 10am and one will begin at 11am.  The fun run starts from Confederate Park, 700 Confederate Park Drive, Belton, TX 76513.  The path will take you down the fantastic, ALL ACCESSIBLE, Nolan Creek Trail.  This trail is completely accessible and completely paved!  \

Stay after the race for food, fun, and trick-or-treating from all our wonderful vendors!  Everyone is welcome!!

Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume in the following age groups:

0-6

7-12

13-17

18 +

Best Team Costume Theme

This event will be held rain or shine. No Refunds

Every participant will receive a t-shirt and medal!

$20 for Adults and $5 for 12 & under

ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at midnight.  You can register in person any time before Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7pm at HOCTIL, 222 E Central Ave., Belton, TX 76513

Early Packet Pick-up available on Friday, October 23, 2015 from noon - 7pm at HOCTIL, 222 E Central Ave., Belton, TX 76513

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up from 9am-9:45am at Confederate Park, 700 Confederate Park Drive, Belton, TX 76513.  Look for the registration tent!

Additional Information: For the safety of the participants, no pets, rollerblades, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles in the Race.
