You'll have a HOLLY, JOLLY time at the fourth annual Jingle Jog 5K & 10K, hosted by C.A.R.E.
All proceeds and donations benefit the students of Celina ISD.
The 10K course is run through the beautiful countryside of Celina. The 5K course is flat, and makes a great choice for runners and walkers alike. Children and strollers are welcome.
PETS-For a small registration fee, your leashed dog is welcome to run with you. Don't miss the special treats for your pooch at the finish line.
MEDALS-Finisher medals will be handed out to all of runners on the day of the race. We're sorry, but we're unable to mail or hand out awards, shirts, bags, etc... to anyone missing the Jingle Jog for any reason.
TEAMS-Teams are encouraged and costumes and holiday dress are welcomed! We will be awarding those of you with the most lavish Christmas style. We can't wait to see what you come up with this year! *New this year is our team trophy! Let your competitive spirit shine! Create your team on-line and invite everyone you know to sign up. The biggest team wins the coveted Jingle Jog trophy!
GEAR CHECK-There's no need to run in heavy coats or to hold your keys for miles while you jog. We'll hold your goods at our GEAR CHECK tent. Just be sure to pack your stuff in a 12"x18" or smaller bag, please.
PACKET PICK UP- Get your race bibs and swag bags early this year! We will be hanging out at Ground Up Coffee in Celina at 2750 S. Preston Rd #102 on December 1st and 2nd from 5-8pm each day. Come by and grab your goods early or check-in on race day at the CHECK-IN tent. Race day check-in and packet pick up, along with late registration are available from 8-8:45am on Dec. 3rd.
SHIRTS- Race shirts are only guaranteed free for those of you who register by Nov. 22, 2016. After that date, shirts may be purchased at the race for $10, while supplies last. If you raced last year but didn't get a shirt, we do have some left over. Grab a free 2015 shirt on race day while supplies last!

Weather Policy
Weather Cancellation Policy
The safety of our participants is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions listed below are present on race day, the event may be delayed or canceled. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule the Jingle Jog for a date in the future.
Threatening Weather Conditions
The race may be canceled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm, "Heavy" Rain, lightning, high winds, snow, ice or other major weather conditions.
Delay or Cancellation of the Event
The start of the event may be delayed up to one hour from the posted start time if any of the above mentioned conditions exist. The event may then be canceled if any threatening weather conditions persist. Should the weather present any immediate danger to participants who are on-site, local staff and volunteers will assist in moving people to shelter.
Authority to Cancel the Event
The Race Director, in accordance with the City of Celina, has the authority to cancel the event. If threatening weather conditions force cancellation of the event, no refunds can be provided, since funds were already spent in preparation for race day. Rest assured that your registration fee is considered a valuable donation to C.A.R.E. and will go to support the academic succuess and achievement of students within the Celina ISD.
In the event of cancellation, all participants will receive notification via email with information about how they can still receive their race packet, including shirt, if applicable.
Broadcast of Cancellation
- If Event is canceled more than 24 hours prior to the start time: We will notify all participants by email.
- If Event is canceled less than 24 hours before start time: We will notify all participants by email.
- If Event is canceled during the actual event, on-site notification will be given over the PA system and Jingle Jog team, C.A.R.E. board members, and volunteers will assist in moving individuals to safety and shelter as needed.
