Description

Join us for our 6th annual Rhino Run in support of TCU's Rhino Initiative as we help save this majestic species from extinction. Rhinos continue to be brutally poached in South Africa at a rate of one every 10 hours. In the last five years, we have lost over 5,000 rhinos and the numbers keep climbing. All proceeds from this run go toward rhino protection, rescue, and rehabilitation in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

Please note: this run is pet-friendly! And there are LOTS of great prize drawings!

Parking

Please note: The run this year will depart from Frog Alley. You may park either in Lot 3 just north of Frog Alley or the Frog Alley Parking garage (see map below).

Medal Categories

Fabulous hand-made rhino medals for winners and second-place finishers in each age category on the 5k. We will also award medals to first-, second-, and third-place finishers in the kids 1k! In addition, overall 5k winners, as well as second-place and third-place finishers (M and F), will receive beautiful hand-blown glass rhinos, as well as the winner of the kids 1k (M and F) - you will get to take home a glass rhino.
