The 5-K Run and Walk course is along the campus sidewalks and Georgetown city streets. (The course route has been changed for this year due to construction on 2nd Street.) There are a few hills to make this a great course.

Top three finishers in each age division will receive a trophy. (Under 13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over)

Since 2001, the Jameson 5-K at Southwestern has donated more than $90000 to the Jaysn Jameson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Southwestern. This scholarship was created in memory of Jaysn Jameson, 1990 Graduate, who passed away in 1991 in a scuba diving accident. The scholarship is given to a student at Southwestern University that is a Science major, has financial need and is in good standing with the University. These are the same criteria that Jaysn and his sister Kenda had when they attended Southwestern University.
