LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

You will be able to pick up your bibs, race maps, shirts and other goodies up at the Waco Family YMCA located at 6800 Harvey Drive on Friday, Sept. 30 from 3-5 p.m.

Also, we will have a pre-race charity dinner and silent auction on Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Auditorium. Tickets are available for purchase at the Waco Family YMCA for $15. Chuy's is providing fajitas, Tea 2 Go is providing drinks and Jon Fox is performing. Additionally, you can enjoy a dessert dash and silent auction. Bring your friends to the dinner too!

Don't want to walk or run alone? Create a team! Forming a team is a great way not only to increase support for the cause but also to have more fun. Here are some frequently asked questions.

Why would I want to create a team?

By creating a team of 10 or more runners or walkers, you can save money. Each participant will save $5 on their entry fee when signed up as a team. Additionally, awards will be given to the team with the most participants and the team that is most spirited. So save some money and increase the fun factor!

Does each person on my team have to participate in the same event?

Each person on your team is free to register for the length (1K, 5K or 10K) that most appeals to them. 

How do we sign up as a team?

Click on the "MY TEAM" button during the registration process. Create a new team or join an existing team. After the 10th person registers, the first 9 team members will recieve their $5.00 discount as a refund. 

• 7:00 - 7:45 am     Registration and Packet Pick-Up
• 8:00 am               1K Fun Run/Walk Start
• 8:15 am                5K and 10K Run Start

• 5K and 10K       Top overall male and female. First 3 places male and female in each 5 year age group.
• 1K Run/Walk     This is an untimed event with not awards.
• Teams                Team with the most participants and the team that is the most spirited.
