Atoms 5K Run/Walk

Course: This is a certified 5K course. Runners and walkers will follow a gently rolling course through neighborhood streets around Annandale High School. The Run/Walk will start on Four Year Run and finish on the oval

Course Map

Packet Pickup will be prior to the race.  Pre-registered participants will check in a separate table and receive their packet, t-shirt and bib.  All pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt (size guarantee for registrations prior to May 1st). Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female finishers of the race, and the top 2 male and female AHS students. Medals will be presented to the first, second and third male and female finishers in each of the following age categories:

9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older

Refreshments will be served to all participants immediately following the race. Awards and random prizes will be given out at this time.

Race DC Timing ( www.racedctiming.com/) will use the ChronoTrack timing system to score the race. The system will use a disposable B-tag (Bib-tag), which will be secured to each runner's bib number, and records the exact time a runner crosses the finish line.

Parking - *NEW* You may use the back parking lot if you are not leaving until after the awards (approx 10AM).  Park in the other lots if you plan to leave immediatly after the race.  
Do Not Park on 4 Year Run Road (front of school) the raod is part of the course,  Use the parking lots at the front of the school and the far end of the track near Ossian Hall Park. 

Registration, Volunteer Check-in and will be on the Stadium Field.
