Description
The 11th annual Fall Backyard Burn is a series of 5 and 10 mile trail running races held on some of the best trail networks in the Northern Virginia Area. All the courses include a mixture of forested fire roads, twisty hiking trails, several stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement.
Race #2 - Riverbend - Great Falls, VA
Course Description (5.05 mile OR 10.1 mile option):
Racers loved Riverbend in its inaugural running in 2015 so we are bringing it back for round two. The park lies adjacent to the Potomac River and just west of Great Falls National Park. The course is sweet and includes incredible riverside single-track, challenging hills, and amazing views. We are thrilled to introduce more trail runners to this special park and hope you will decide to come join the fun.
