Richmond Run-A-Latke

Join us Sunday, December 11th, 2022 for the only race of its kind in Central Virginia!  

The One! The Only! The Run-A-Latke 5K and One-Miler to benefit the Rudlin Torah Academy.

Runners and walkers of all levels and abilities, yes that means YOU, can take part in this fun "out and back" fast course. We start at the Weinstein JCC, 5403 Monument Avenue and loop through the residential area of Peachtree Blvd. and Fitzhugh Avenue, to Stillwell Rd. and back.

Delicious post-race party! FOOD! Sit with your friends inside the warm JCC after the race and enjoy doughnuts, hot chocolate, and of course delicious latkes! (I hear the oil sizzling already...)

One Miler (in person)  12/11/22:

-Start and finish at the Weinstein JCC, 5403 Monument Ave.

-Please plan to arrive and park early Sunday morning as the crowds can get large.

-Race begins promptly at 9:30 am.

-Not just for kids! Adults can register for this 1 mile option too!

-Runners and walkers of all abilities welcome.  

-Short sleeve shirt for registrants. Sizes not guaranteed if you register after 11/30. 

-Medals for all finishers.

5K (in person) 12/11/22:

-Start and finish at the Weinstein JCC, 5403 Monument Ave. 

-Please plan to arrive and park early Sunday morning as the crowds can get large.

-Race begins promptly at 10:00 am.

-5K is chip timed. You must wear the bib # assigned to you.

-Prizes for top 5K finishers.

-Runners and walkers of all abilities welcome.

-Long sleeve technical race shirt for registrants. (Everyone loves 'em!) Sizes not guaranteed if you register after 11/30.

-Medals for all finishers.

5K (virtual) 12/11- 12/12/22:

-Ideal if you can't make it in person the morning of 12/11 but still want to participate.

-Time does not need to be recorded or posted. Just have fun and pick up great swag later that week!

-Long sleeve technical race shirt and medals for local registrants only! Must be picked up at Lucky Road Run Shop, Willow Lawn shopping center on Wednesday, 12/14/22, 4:30pm-6:00 pm. We do not ship swag! (Sizes not guaranteed if you register after 11/30.)

-Start and finish in your neighborhood, a park, a track, a treadmill, or anywhere you choose.  

-No bib#s given.

Bib # & Packet pickup for in person races:

-Thursday, 12/8/22 Lucky Road Run Shop, Willow Lawn Shopping Center, 4:30pm - 6:00pm.

-Sunday, 12/11/22 RACE DAY, Weinstein JCC, 5403 Monument Avenue, 8 am 

We strongly encourage you to pick up your bib and packet BEFORE race day, if possible.

Parking: Please leave extra time to park your car! There is parking in the JCC parking lot. There is also overflow parking across the street and 1 block east from the JCC at 5500 Monument Avenue in the Professional Center. (We ask you to respectfully avoid parking in the church parking lot Sunday morning.)

Weather: Yes, the race will go on unless you hear differently! Please check your email Saturday night after 9:00 pm to see if there are any pertinent weather updates. 

Bib #s: Please wear your bib # on the front of your shirt, about chest height. Please wear only the bib # assigned to you. The 5K is chip timed to your bib #.
