Sporty Diva's Walk/Run 10 Mile Hill Training Group Winter Session 2020
Have you you been walking/ running consistently for 3-6 months? Are you thinking of training for a half marathon? Would you like to add some hills, fun, and and additional mile each week? Are you looking for a new training partner? Or do you simply need motivation to get out of the house on a Sunday morning and RUN?
Sporty Diva's 10 Mile Hill Training Group may be just right for you! We will meet on Saturdays beginning January 4 through February 29 starting at 0700 at locations in and around Chambers Bay in Tacoma. Participants should be able to run/walk 4 miles at an easy pace prior to registering for this group. You can walk, jog, walk/run and or run. Each week an additional mile and hills will be added to our training.
Emphasis will be placed on developing proper technique, consistency with training and training intuitively (listening to your body.....training at your pace......and ultimately letting your body be your guide).
Tips will be given on running form, clothing, shoes, hydration and how to become self motivated.
1 weekly group session on Saturdays at 0700 at various locations around Chambers Bay (there is no time limit on the weekly training. I will be there until everyone is done)
No makeup classes are given for missed workouts or cancelled sessions due to inclimate weather.
